My dog gets way more excited about this wedge than his old flat tug, probably because the 5-inch height gives him something to really sink his teeth into. We use it as a reward after training sessions and it's held up fine so far.

The 12-inch length is perfect for keeping my hands clear of those sharp puppy teeth during tug sessions, and it's held up through daily play without tearing. My shepherd uses it as a reward after training drills and it's become her favorite way to wind down.

My pup goes absolutely nuts for this thing during our training sessions, and the 12" x 8" x 5" size gives me a solid grip while he bites down hard. It's held up through daily tug-and-reward play without any wear, which is more than I can say for other toys we've tried.
