The forged steel on this thing is no joke — I clipped it onto my vest's spreader bar and it barely noticed the weight of a full rig. The yellow zinc coating has held up fine after a few muddy weekends, no flaking or rust spots yet.

That 10-inch length and 1.8lb heft make it feel seriously solid when I'm connecting the spreader bar, and the yellow zinc coating has held up perfectly so far. The 5000lb proof load gives me real peace of mind knowing the gear won't fail mid-use.

The yellow zinc finish is a nice touch—it’s got that industrial look but doesn’t feel cheap, and the 1.8-pound weight gives it a solid heft that you know can handle the 5000lb proof load. I’ve been using it to clip the spreader bar on my K9 vest, and the ten-inch length gives plenty of room to grab
